Terms of Service
Effective August 13, 2026. These terms are between you and Salt Rank LLC, 7280 NW 87th Terrace, Suite C210, Kansas City, MO 64153 ("Salt Rank", "we"). Using Spooly means you accept them.
The service
Spooly is website analytics: it records how visitors use your sites and reports it back to you, along with QR code creation and scan tracking. You add it to sites you own or are authorised to measure.
Your account
Sign-in links are sent to your email address, so keeping that mailbox secure is keeping your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Trials and billing
- Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. A card is collected up front and first charged when the trial ends.
- Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. Cancel later and access continues to the end of the period already paid for; we do not prorate partial months.
- Plan changes and cancellation are self-serve through the billing portal.
- Visit limits are soft: nothing is cut off and no overage is billed, but sustained overuse means we will ask you to move to the right plan.
Acceptable use
- Only measure sites you own or have permission to measure.
- You are responsible for your own visitors' legal notices: if the law that applies to you requires disclosure or consent for analytics, that disclosure is yours to make.
- No use that is unlawful, that attempts to identify individuals from the data, or that probes or disrupts the service.
Your data
Data collected from your sites is yours. We use it to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy, and not to build products for anyone else. Delete a site and its data is deleted with it.
Service quality
Spooly is provided as-is. We work to keep it fast, accurate, and available, but we do not warrant uninterrupted service, and analytics by nature samples an imperfect world: blocked scripts, offline devices and hostile browsers mean no tool measures everything.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data beyond our retention commitments.
Ending things
You can cancel and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable. Sections that by nature survive (liability, your data's disposition) survive.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Disputes belong to the state or federal courts serving Kansas City, Missouri.
Changes
If these terms change materially, account holders get an email before the change takes effect. Continued use after that is acceptance.
