Questions people actually ask
What happens after the trial?
Your card is charged for the plan you picked, monthly. Cancel any time during the trial and you pay nothing. Cancel later and you keep access to the end of the paid period.
Why do you ask for a card up front?
So the trial rolls into a subscription without interrupting your data. There is no charge until day 15, and cancelling takes two clicks in the billing portal.
What counts as a visit?
One person's session on one of your sites: a browsing session with all its pages, clicks and signals, however long it runs. Not pageviews, which inflate three times faster.
What if I go over my visit limit?
Nothing breaks and we do not bill overages. If you run over month after month, we will ask you to move up a plan.
Do you record my visitors' screens?
No, and that is the point. Spooly writes each visit out as a story instead. Nothing to watch, nothing to subpoena, no PII sitting in recordings.
How is this different from Lucky Orange?
They record video you watch; we write stories you read and search. The full comparison, including where a recording genuinely wins, is on its own page. Read the comparison.
Can I cancel myself, without emailing anyone?
Yes. The billing portal is self-serve: change card, change plan, cancel, download invoices.
